Last updated: [date]. This is a starting-point policy. Please review it, and adjust it to your business and local law, before relying on it.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we receive the information you type: your name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message. If you start the form from a product page, we also note which product it was.
To help prevent spam and abuse we store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser’s user-agent text.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss your order.
- To prevent spam, repeated submissions and abuse.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use one small, strictly necessary security cookie on pages that contain a form. It protects the form from cross-site request forgery and is not used for tracking. Visitors who only browse the site don’t receive it. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Services we use
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person. It receives limited technical information from your browser, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves our typefaces, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when a page loads. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Email delivery (if enabled) is used to notify us of new messages.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting order, then delete them within [period]. [Edit to match your practice.]
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@smallcoffins.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above.
